otc with a supressant?

i was reading a maggie and it startd to give me a scare. it was saying how otc drugs have a hidden appetite supressant and how if they are not taken with extreme care they can be fatal.

could some one find a list of these drugs?

What uneducated women’s magazine where you reading? I guess some decongestants have an appetite suppressant quality because they are CNS stimulants( But barely barely barely so!) The only OTC I know of that can be be used/abused for appetite suppression are Benzedrine inhalers. Some meth heads will pop these open, cut up the wet cotton and eat it for a high. Thought its more peripherally active than centrally active.
