They say the road to is full of good intentions. The same thing can be said about dieting. When it comes to Weight loss, there is NOTHING more important than the mental aspect. If you aren’t mentally alert and focused, it doesn’t matter if the GREEN GIANT himself is planning your meals, you’re screwed. Here are five mental mindset faults to achieving the body you want.

You think too much
Paralysis by analysis is one of the worst things to do when dieting. There is no “perfect” dieting. The secret lies in consistency of eating whole foods with lots of protein and vegetables with a moderate amount of calories. Stop over thinking and just do.

You are full of excuses
Did you have that ONE slice of cheesecake that ONE time? What about that drink that turned into 10. But it was a wedding, EVERYONE was doing it. If you find yourself continually making excuses for eating, you have to stop rationalizing, or in other words, lying to yourself. Be honest with yourself.

You are frustrated easily
I’m guilty of this. Do you want results TODAY, like RIGHT NOW? Well it ain’t going to happen. Don’t expect results over night, or even in a week, give it TIME and you’ll be left feeling better.

You have self-esteem issues
Look no ones perfect. I was born half-retarded and that’s okay. If you find yourself being eating alive by self-worth issues and you take your frustration out by eating bad food, you have to address those issues. It all starts with attitude, and everyone can make a profound impact on their body.

You attach negativity to dieting
Do you regard eating healthy as a “chore”. I mean, do you fear apples? Well you have to make a change to how you regard eating healthy. Because eating “healthy” is how our body is meant to function. We are created to eat meat, vegetables and fruits, not super processed soy-sugar-transfat death cookies. It ain’t a diet, its called eating what you were designed FOR.

These are five very OVER LOOKED aspects of dieting that actually determine whether you succeed or FAIL.

WOW i finally found someone that agrees! Its so true, our body was MEANT to be eating natural whole foods and the reason people gain weight and sometimes even acne,and common colds can be related to too much unatural junk and chemicals ur body was not meant to have :)

Well I think it was a week or a week and a half but still it was down to eating salad and fruit mainly, yh I walked a good few miles in that week, but the bloody sweets are defeating me lol, nah as long as I loose to get to 10 and a half i will be happy ! @n2i2c2k2y Hya, I’m a Personal Trainer in the UK. Half a stone is a LOT to loose in a week! If you continue at that pace, personally I would worry about your immune system as it’ll be weakened under the stress of rapid loss. So long as your weight is generally coming down I wouldn’t worry, worrying isn’t good for weight loss! There are reasons you’ll have put a little back on with the sweets, But it’s really boring! Hope that helps :-)
