Archive for Appetite Supressant
I know it is an appetite supressant that is like an amphetamine and that the effect can wear off after a few weeks, but my doctor hasn’t really given me much info on it. Can anyone on here help?
Did your dr just prescribe this to you???? Take it first thing in the morning, it makes your heart race and it will keep you up if you take it later on in the day, side effects: constipation.
I currently weigh 190 lbs. and I am taking an appetite supressant from my Dr. called Phentermine. I need to lose 8 lbs by my next weigh in which is every 2 weeks. Any suggestions?
Like you said, Excises for an hour a day, and eat healthy meals, you’ll be losing weight in no time.
For exercising, I’d say go about 20 mins at a time, take a 3-5 min break in between.
Are there natural diet supressants available and are they addictive?
Posted by: | CommentsI know that the best way to loose weight is to eat less and execise more. I do exercise about 4 times a week and I try to keep my fat and calorie content down to a sensible amount (currently doing weight watchers), but I find that all do all day is think about food. It’s a constant battle not to eat, even though I’m not hungry. I’ve lost 2 stone, but then my weight loss stopped 5 months ago and I’m sure it’s because I can’t keep my eating under control. I can maybe go a couple of days eating normally, but it seems like toture. With an appetite supressant I know I would still eat sensibly and keep up the exercise but I just can’t stand the thought of food all the time – it’s so depressing (and when I feel low, I want to eat more). All I seem to get is warnings that Weight loss supliments are not the answer, but I’m wondering if those available are addictive? Has anybody had positive experiences with them?
I would go to the root of your problem- i.e. why food makes you happy while other things don’t, and eliminate that (could involve therapy). Also- how overweight are you? I mean, not how many lbs you THINK you need to lose, but what is your BMI (body mass index). Have you consulted a doctor about your weight?
Anyway, the most natural and absolutely non-addictive appetite suppressant is lean protein (lean meat, skim milk, soy, shakes, bars, etc.), but don’t forget to eat a lot of fiber to keep you digestive system working normally and vitamins to keep you healthy.
What is a good protein weightloss shake to try?
Posted by: | CommentsI didn’t know if there were different types for women and men? I want something that provides vitamins I need and maybe an appetite supressant? Any ideas?
Slimfast tends to hurt my stomach too much. Anything else?
I have tried these two:
www.arbonne.com
www.reliv.com
reliv is more expensive though. I would say you can even check out a store like GNC and see what they offer. Gosh, there are too many choices these days.
Best of luck
How long do the side effects of aderall last?
Posted by: | CommentsI was just recently prescribed aderall and I am wondering how long the side effects last. Mainly, the appetite supressant aspect. I am trying to exercise and build muscle but since I started it I have NO appetite. I eat twice a day if I am lucky..
I was told that the side effects would eventually wear off, but the Doctor wouldn’t tell me how long. She wouldn’t even give an estimate.
Also, I won’t be going off of it anytime soon.
They dont go away, sounds like you should be prescribed a lower dosage, remember take it as soon as you get up, or you could be up all night
otc with a supressant?
Posted by: | Commentsi was reading a maggie and it startd to give me a scare. it was saying how otc drugs have a hidden appetite supressant and how if they are not taken with extreme care they can be fatal.
could some one find a list of these drugs?
What uneducated women’s magazine where you reading? I guess some decongestants have an appetite suppressant quality because they are CNS stimulants( But barely barely barely so!) The only OTC I know of that can be be used/abused for appetite suppression are Benzedrine inhalers. Some meth heads will pop these open, cut up the wet cotton and eat it for a high. Thought its more peripherally active than centrally active.
IMHO. (:
appetite supressants that work?
Posted by: | Commentsits my engagement in a month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i’m on a diet ive joined the gym but i just cant stop binge eating so im getting fatter rather than losing weight.. does anyone know o0f an appetite supressant that actually works or anything that could help me lose the weight faster but minimal side effects.. thank u
A bit controversial but Ephedrine Hydrochloride is really good but has some side effects similar to amphetamines which has caused some countries to ban it. Also has a thermogenic effect which burn calories quicker too.
Best diet pill for appetite suppression/energy?
Posted by: | Commentsi’m dieting and exercising, but i’m mostly interested for a little boost in energy and a an appetite supressant.
I’m female in my mid 20s
also, what’s the best time of day to take it? i work out in the evenings
i’m not looking for a pill to replace diet an exercise, just one to give me a boost
I think if you take a good multivitamin that can really help you. I am not personally a fan of diet pills, and believe me I have tried everything in the book. If you do choose a vitamin make sure it has B-12 in it. That will give you a boost of energy.
Im about 5′5" and weigh 127 – 130 pounds i have some xtra fat around my waste especially lower back (love handles). i hate them.i am a full time student and work full time i cant seem to be able to find time to work out !! ALSO im a emotional eater and im always munching on something, cant stop !! SO I WAS THINKING ABOUT TAKING THE appetite SUPRESSANT AND THE FAT BURNER AT THE SAME TIME. perhaps hoodia pills or something. If this is not a health hazard can you recommend any pills ? thanks
Okay… think about what you are asking about… two dangerous pills on their own put together…. ’tis unhealthy, girl. Just when you get the emo munchies, eat soemthing small, low in fat, sugar, and salt… with few calories… and you should do just fine… Do not take pills to lose weight… it is not the right thing to do.
Has anyone ever tried Hoodia as an appetite surpressant?
Posted by: | CommentsI am on the weight watchers diet and I am doing ok i guess. I am following the diet exactly and I excercise. I only lose about 2 lbs per week. I am always hungry. When I get hungry I will eat a piece of fruit or drink water but that doesn’t last long. I am a little scared of taking diet pills but at this point i an willing to do anything. I have heard that hoodia is a good appetite supressant. Has anyone tried it? Has it worked for anyone?
Hoodia really helped me eat less and have better control over bad food choices, especially sweets. Also got me in the habit of eating smaller portions. The people Hoodia works for swear by it. An appetite suppressant that is all natural with no side effects is good stuff! The only problem with Hoodia is making sure you get the real stuff. There are many factors involved in finding the best Hoodia, You will have the best chance of hoodia suppressing your appetite if you get a strong pure hoodia that is certified to be genuine. Check out Totalink’s unbiased Hoodia comparison at http://hoodiagordonii.totalink.com/hoodia_comparison.html in the "Confidence" column it will indicate if the brand is "Certified". These Hoodia brands have the credentials to back up their product. Also in that column it will indicate if the brand is "Returnable". These Hoodia brands allow you to return opened bottles and get your money back. I think this indicates that a company has confidence in their product that it works.
If you want a strong Hoodia supplement that also contains green tea I would check out Hoodiburn on the page at http://hoodiagordonii.totalink.com/hoodiaherb.html
Hoodia only suppresses your appetite, it does not burn fat. If you are looking for a good fat burner check out Cha de Bugre, it’s a new Weight loss supplement that is growing in popularity and is similar to Ma Huang (Ephedrine) without any of the bad effects. Cha de Bugre is from Brazil and has been used there safely for centuries. Cha de Bugre provides energy, fat burning and appetite suppression that benefit weight loss. Cha de Bugre also has additional uses that are known in Brazil that include being used as a mild diuretic, a cellulite reducer, aides in reducing herpes simplex outbreaks and a heart tonic. You can find more about it at http://hoodiagordonii.totalink.com/cha_de_bugre.html
I have written a lot of articles on Hoodia. Just search Yahoo or Google under my name “Andrew Aitaken” to find them.
Remember, you should always consult your physician before taking any diet pill or weight loss supplement.
