			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m starting my <a href="http://www.totallyslimandfit.com" target=_self>Weight loss</a> plan and of course, I would like to know how much weight did I lose after 2 weeks and how my body changed. But I don&#8217;t know what to measure(legs and arms probably) except my weight. I heard that you need to measure your neck too. Is this true and If it is, why? And when do I need to measure myself? 1 week, 2 weeks, &#8230;? And is there anything else I need to know about measuring?<br />
<br />First, you should measure whichever measurements are important to you. If you&#8217;re interested in how your arms or legs change, measure them. Most measure their neck, especially in the beginning, because it is likely that&#8217;s the first place fat will come off, so you&#8217;ll see results more quickly in that area.</p>
<p>There are 3 measurements that are correlated with disease risk regarding body fat: BMI, waist circumference, and body fat %.</p>

<p>Waist circumference measured at the belly button should be below 36 for males and 32 for females.</p>
<p>Body fat % should be below 28% for females and below 18% for males.</p>
<p>You should be as consistent as possible when taking your weight measurement. Try to weigh first thing in the morning with no clothes, or the same clothes every time, after going to the bathroom but before eating.</p>

I have a layer of fat over my stomach and I am trying to achieve abs, so is cardio or fat loss better for losing a layer of bellyfat?<br />

Losing weight quickly is not easy and most of the time the solution is only temporary. You no doubt need to find ways to lose weight fast. </p>
<p>We are going to discuss some ways to lose weight fast and how to maintain it at that level.</p>
<p>Never think that you are going to find a magic pill that is going to work for you overnight.</p>
<p>Do Not Waste Your Time On Expensive Equipment And Empty Promises</p>
<p>What I do offer is some tips on healthy methods you can use to lose as much fat weight as possible in as short a time as possible. </p>
<p>If you&#8217;re willing to commit to it, here are some tips concerning what you can do to look and feel markedly better in the next couple of months:</p>
<p>1. Eat well. Don&#8217;t just eat frequently.<br />
Provides us with ways to lose weight fast. You must eat more vegetables and fruits. Don&#8217;t eat foods that contain too much fat, especially sweets and junk food. If you don&#8217;t like to exercise, try going for a walk about an hour after eating a meal. </p>
<p>2.Sweat it out.<br />
Aerobic exercise is crucial to fat loss, and if you need to lose the fat faster then you will need to do it more often than average. This means 6 or even 7 days of the week, for 45 minutes or so each day.</p>
<p>3.  Eat diet foods, but don&#8217;t forget the effectiveness of a balanced diet. Drinking green tea after every meal is a natural way of losing weight without much effort.</p>
<p>4. Burn more calories while sleeping.<br />
The way to do this is to build more muscle, so you&#8217;re going to want to do some weight training. Doing workouts 3 or 4 days a week, 30 minutes each day will increase your lean body mass and charge your metabolism even further. This means more calories burned and more fat loss, particularly in the long term.</p>
<p>5. Don&#8217;t drink soda and other carbonated soft drinks.</p>
<p>6. Avoid fried meat and grilled food. Instead, include vegetables soup and salads in your diet. Again changing your diet is one of the best ways to lose weight fast.</p>
<p>7. Don&#8217;t eat too much at once. Make a time table of eating 5 or 6 meals a day. Change your diet and you will find new ways to lose weight fast !</p>

<br />The difference is whether you are losing fat or muscle mass. By exercising when you are losing weight you will be sure to lose the body fat and not the muscle mass. You have to exercise at least 4 times a week. You need to cut all soda and junk foods from your diet not completely or you will feel like you are being punished. Use these things as a once in a while treat. You also need to put fresh vegetables and fruits into your diet along with whole grains. Cut out white bread and add stone ground wheat bread. You must drink plenty of water to help flush toxins out of your system. Don&#8217;t be in a hurry to lose the weight all at once it is not healthy. You didn&#8217;t gain it over night you can&#8217;t expect to loose it over night. If you fall off the diet one day don&#8217;t dash the diet altogether it is only one day and you are only human. Tomorrow just start over. Good Luck</p>

<br />Low Fat Foods don&#8217;t work<br />
You cannot lose weight using Low Fat Diets.  Low fat foods have been popular for more than 15 years, but yet our society is getting more overweight as each year passes.  This fact alone should tell you that eating a purely low fat menu is not the answer to losing weight.</p>
<p>Low Calorie Diets don&#8217;t work<br />
You won&#8217;t lose weight using a Low Calorie Dieting Plan either.   In fact, eating low calories is the worst thing that you can do to your body, since that will only slow down your body&#8217;s fat burning engine and ruin all chances of losing weight (low calorie diets may allow a few pounds of weight loss for the first few days, but then after that all <a href="http://www.totallyslimandfit.com" target=_self>Weight loss</a> comes to a halt &#8212; known as a dieting plateau).   You can never get slim by starving yourself.</p>
<p>Low Carb Plans don&#8217;t work<br />
You&#8217;ll probably find it extremely difficult to get slim using a Low Carb Dieting Plan.  Low carb diets have recently become popular over the last couple years, but the problem with low carb menus  is that they are too strict and TOO HARD TO FOLLOW for average people.   Low carb menus tend to rob your body of too much energy (carbohydrates) and make it nearly impossible to remain on the program for very long.  This is why so many dieters find it difficult to follow a strict low carbohydrate menu.</p>

<br />p90x have you done it,  All the routines I have done are Very high tempo with short breaks and lots of moving fast,  This is totally cardio and strength workouts,  </p>
<p>Jogging for 30 mins is cardio ya? </p>
<p>P90xs gets your heart going way faster then in jogging, way more sweat, way more tears, pushup variation then jump squats,  backto back with more after that.   definitley goes down in my books as cardio,  its strength too.</p>

I&#8217;ve been really healthy, drinking a lot of water, eating healthy and doing excercise, but my weight never goes down it just stays the same. <br />percent of body fat is more important, not weight.  if weight was more important then most bodybuilders would be considered overweight.  weight loss pills usually dont work and if they do they arent good for the heart and more than likely you will gain all that weight back when off the pills&#8230;</p>

<br />Low Fat Foods don&#8217;t work<br />
You cannot lose weight using Low Fat Diets.  Low fat foods have been popular for more than 15 years, but yet our society is getting more overweight as each year passes.  This fact alone should tell you that eating a purely low fat menu is not the answer to losing weight.</p>
<p>Low Calorie Diets don&#8217;t work<br />
You won&#8217;t lose weight using a Low Calorie Dieting Plan either.   In fact, eating low calories is the worst thing that you can do to your body, since that will only slow down your body&#8217;s fat burning engine and ruin all chances of losing weight (low calorie diets may allow a few pounds of <a href="http://www.totallyslimandfit.com" target=_self>Weight loss</a> for the first few days, but then after that all weight loss comes to a halt &#8212; known as a dieting plateau).   You can never get slim by starving yourself.</p>
<p>Low Carb Plans don&#8217;t work<br />
You&#8217;ll probably find it extremely difficult to get slim using a Low Carb Dieting Plan.  Low carb diets have recently become popular over the last couple years, but the problem with low carb menus  is that they are too strict and TOO HARD TO FOLLOW for average people.   Low carb menus tend to rob your body of too much energy (carbohydrates) and make it nearly impossible to remain on the program for very long.  This is why so many dieters find it difficult to follow a strict low carbohydrate menu.</p>
