I am trying to lose 20 to 30 pounds in a healthy matter. I have been exercising and trying to eat healthy as much a possible but i am not noticing any Weight loss. I am not concerned so much with the number on the scale, i just want to lose fat. What natural substances will help me in this situation?

I’m not naive enough to think that there are any tablets that will help Weight loss without eating properly, and exercising more regularly, but am interested to know of anything that might help the process on a bit when combined with eating right, and exercising.
For example, appetite suppressants, fat metabolisers etc.

Diet pills in general, well,. none of them work. They may temporarily help you lose weight but when you are off of them, or your body builds up tolerance to them, then you gain it back.

Losing weight is not losing weight if you gain it back.

What food should I eat, and what exercises should I do to increase my metabolism? And also, how do I determine/figure out my metabolism rate?

The best way to increase your metabolism is to eat frequently throughout the day. The way to do this is to follow the 40/30/30 rule: carbs/protein/fats and eat the majority of your calories in the morning, and then eat the littlest at dinnertime.

What are some simple things i can do to increase my metabolism? I tried running in the treadmill but my knee was starting to suffer. I still want to excercise and i know this will increase my metabolism. But, other than this, what other things like food, natural remedies, vitamins can help increase metabolism?

I have a very slow metabolism.I have a friend that eats 3 times as much as I do and never seems to gain a pound,I look at a picture of food and gain weight.
Before you say exercise more well I do and don’t seem to burn anything.

You may be more energy efficient than your friend is. I general, it is a good thing. Your body spends less energy than the body of your friend to do the same work. You can survive longer than your friend if there is not much food around. However, when food is easily available, your energy efficiency makes you gain weight.

To increase your metabolism, you should
- Gain muscle mass (Combine aerobic exercises with regular strength training)
- Eat 4 to 6 six small meals through the day (When you skip a mean, your body slows down your metabolism to conserve energy). Remember that portion control is very important.
- Eat whole grains, fish, fruit and vegetables, low-fat dairy products. Avoid sodas and other sugary drinks as well as alcohol.

That is it. There is nothing else you can do to increase your metabolism without medication, but I believe you will be fine if you exercise and adhere to a healthy diet.
